The Apple Cider Punch Cocktail—often called Thanksgiving Punch—is a cozy and crowd-pleasing fall drink that captures the essence of the season. This festive mix combines apple cider, vodka, prosecco, and ginger beer with a touch of apple butter and cinnamon for warmth. The result is a sparkling, spiced punch that’s both sweet and crisp, perfect for serving in a pitcher during gatherings or holiday dinners.
This recipe was inspired by Tieghan Gerard at Half Baked Harvest .
In a large pitcher, mix together the apple cider, vodka, apple butter, few dashes of bitters and spices. Stir well to blend the flavors, then drop in the cinnamon sticks and a star anise if you like a hint of spice.
Chill the mixture until you’re ready to serve.
When it’s time to serve, fill your punch bowl with ice and pour in the chilled cider mix. Top with prosecco and ginger beer, giving it a gentle stir.
Add ice to each glass, pour over the punch, and garnish with a few thin apple slices and cinnamon stick for a festive touch.
